Instagram Integration
Idea shared by Maxim Proulx - June 17, 2015 at 4:29 PM
Completed
The integration of Instagram would allow the associations to communicate more effectively with the players and to create a sense of community that integrates them as well as the parents.

While most parents are active on Facebook and Twitter, most players are predominantly active on Twitter and Instagram.  Adding a "feed" feature for the home page, as well as links promoting the association's Instagram account similar to the FB and Twitter ones would help us improve our communications to the players.

We are pleased to announce that our initial Instagram integration has been rolled out as of July 2015.  To use it, go to System Administration -> Setup & Settings -> Social Networking -> Instagram.

All that is needed is the "username" of the Instagram account.  We will automatically add a link to your Instagram account on the left-hand side of the page, and we'll automatically embed the latest entries (pictures) in the right-hand column of the home page.

The latest pictures shown are cached for several hours, so as new pictures are added to your Instagram account, it might take a little while for them to show up on your website.
