Mobile version - ability to submit Online Forms
Idea shared by Mike Hayward - August 16, 2014 at 7:42 AM
Completed
I would like to see the mobile version of site have the ability for our Association users to enter and submit the various Association Online Forms through their smart phones.

The Online Forms are very good and we use them a lot.  One example is a Game Score Reporting Form.  Our Managers can submit the game score to TheOneDB through mobile site but we ask for more detailed information on the game (penalties, shots, suspensions, etc). This is done through a custom form but unfortunately they need to go home and use laptop/tablet to submit.  It would be nice to do all at once.

I read another proposed idea on full versus mobile option when accessing through phones.  Not sure if the Online Forms also have similar challenges on phone?

I agree wholeheartedly with this suggestion.  I have created on online form for reporting game scores as well and it would be so helpful if they could do it from their smartphones.  Will this ever be able to happen?

Hi Folks,

Yes this is planned.  We've been off the radar for the past couple months getting the minor hockey season going, but now that things are calming down a bit it's back into development season.  Keep the suggestions coming - we're listening!

Is there any updates available on the mobile options for Sports Web?  We had our Annual General Meeting for Barrie Hockey Referees Association last night and one of the biggest areas where negative feedback came into play was the lack of a mobile option to submit availability.  I'm just wondering if anything is planned on this front.

The ability to complete online forms via a mobile device is available.

@Shaun @Anthony there are more mobile-friendly enhancements planned including features available for game officials.

Since this particular thread was talking about the online forms, we've marked the idea as completed.
